I’m reading The Inscription by Pam Binder. Full disclosure, she’s the instructor for my writing certificate program. Even still, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy her novel. Granted I’m only on the first chapter – but the fact I’m enjoying it so much already says something. I’ve always liked the idea of a modern person transported to another time or place. Some of my favorite movies and books are around this theme: Farscape, The Mirror of Her Dreams by Stephen R. Donaldson, Split Infinity by Piers Anthony, Wizard of Oz, and Continuum. There are more, I’m sure, just can’t think of them at the moment. Now I’m going to get back to the Scottish Highland Romance…
