Turned in my laptop today. After 10 years it was time to move on. Time to focus on my novel. Time for me. I will always love the work I did, and the people I met. I learned a lot. Told a friend today it feels like graduation from high school. I know I’ll go back and visit those hallways, the café, the company store…but it will never be quite the same. A nostalgic place to haunt now and then. Meanwhile I get to immerse myself in the writing community, and enjoy my other passion. I will still be a geek girl with some nerd thrown in, and I will still be a part of the video game industry either by proxy (I still have so many friends in the industry) or by playing the games on the new systems, etc. Let a new age begin!
