Me: Finishing revisions on chapter seven of my novel.
Girls: OH, you’re writing a book? What’s it about?
Me: Give one line book pitch. (YA Fantasy…blah blah blah)
Girls: Squeeeeel.
Me: Here’s my business card, email me and I’ll let you know when its out.
Girls: Squeeeeeel! You’re our new BFF.

Note to self: always bring business cards, never know when you might run into fans.
Addendum: hmmm. Grocery stores the new author signing/book marketing place? Could be.
