Geek Girl Con 2012 “Women in Gaming” Panel
Our panel discussion will be at August 12th 2012 – 4:30 on Sunday in rm 204 – in the annex across the street from the main convention center. I’m a bit worried no one will show as it will be towards the close of the event! PLEASE COME SEE US! We’ve got some great women sharing their experiences of the video game industry – a combined 50+ years worth. We have women from Microsoft, Valve, Popcap, CheapAss Games & Cascade Game Foundry. Bring your enthusiasm, bring your questions…we’d love to see you there!

Come join these eight amazing women from the video game industry. We’ve got a mix of your favorites: Halo (343 Industries, MGS), Zuma/Plants vs. Zombies,(PopCap), Warner Bro’s, Kinect (Good Science, MGS), Dance Central 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Cascade Games Foundry, and more! We’ll give you a glimpse into the video games industry from a female perspective. We’ll share stories from the trenches: How did we enter a mostly male dominated environment? What challenges did we face? And most of all, what keeps us in the game? Dream, laugh, or cry with us; we won’t judge.
